Hi! My name is Sam, and I'm a co-founder of Make It Macro! 

After being forced into retirement due to an injury following a 13-year highly competitive swimming career, I struggled to find some purchase in my nutrition life. I gained 30 pounds, spiraled into depression and was just a generally unhappy person. 

In 2017, I discovered this new trend cruising around the internet called "tracking macros."And wanted to figure out what it was all about. I could eat all my favorite foods and lose weight? What was this unicorn diet??  

I started using macros to supplement CrossFit, and saw such amazing success. In just four months I lost 25 pounds, increased my performance massively in the gym and immediately found a new passion.

So many people started approaching me asking me what I was doing. How could they get started? What was the secret? So MakeItMacro was born!

Make It Macro is a platform that gives you everything you need to learn to track your macros effectively. I felt confused and lonely so many times when I was beginning my journey, and I don't want anyone else to feel that way! 

I'm just a regular girl born and raised in UT with love for all dogs and passion to help people learn about a sustainable and healthy lifestyle. I'm so happy you're here and I can't wait to work with you!

Hi, my name is Ashleigh and I am the other co-founder of Make It Macro!

Fitness has always been a large part of my life. I grew up in Denver, CO and my family was always out camping and hiking. I spent my summers swimming competitively and loved every minute of it!

In Jr. High I started mixing myself up in things that weren't healthy for my mental or physical state. Even into High School I spent most of my days and nights partying. It led to an unhealthy relationship with just about everything in my life.

I finally decided after years of living a less than stellar life that I wanted to get things back on track. After the birth of my second kiddo, I started to kick my butt back into gear. I tried everything from calorie counting to Keto to Paleo and then I found macros! 

It has created a healthy relationship with food and I've learned how I can still have the things I love while eating healthy. My progress in my body composition, confidence, and gym milestones are unreal and i have tracking my macros to thank for it!

I love sharing everything I've learned and helping people reach their goals. Make It Macro provides knowledge that helps you create a sustainable lifestyle change and I can't wait to share it with you!
